ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ONLINE: A total of 53 first class students have been recognized as Honorary Members of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Chapter ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) at the BMA Gamma Sigma Chapter ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø 2020 Induction Ceremony held at EDC Hotels and Resorts recently.

The inauguration was officiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hendrik Lamsali who is also the President of BGS Chapter ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.

In his speech, he applauded the organising committee for implementing the event both physically and virtually as it was the first ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø BGS ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Chapter Induction Ceremony carried out remotely.

"Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the guests of honour who are present despite their busy schedule. Not forgetting parents who are also present to celebrate the success of their children as well as the organisers who have worked hard to ensure this event runs smoothly.

Honorary members of BGS are selected based on excellent examination results as well as their active involvement in co-curricular activities.

At the ceremony, each honorary member received certificates and pins, symbolic of their membership in the internationally recognized society.

The BGS fourth cohort induction ceremony also saw the attendance of BGS Honorary Members who were unable to attend the event physically through the Webex platform.

Also in attendance were the Assistant Vice-Chancellor of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø COB, Prof. Dr. Salniza Md. Salleh; Director of AACSB Accreditation Unit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arpah Abu Bakar; Dean of Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Massudi Mahmuddin; Coordinator of BGS Chapter ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Dr. Mazrah Malik and the Deans of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø COB.
