ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ONLINE: The two-month long wait for 30 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) students to return home ended when they were sent home last night.

Student, Ms. Nurul Suhaiza Fazilah expressed her gratitude and appreciation when the prospect of her being reunited with her family was realised after the government announced that students stranded in campuses would be allowed to return home during the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO).

She said her return had long been awaited for by her family members back in Sabak Bernam, Selangor. She also added that she had been stranded in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø for almost a month and could not meet her beloved family.

“Excited as I am to return home, I am sad to leave my friends and my heart goes out to them who cannot return home.

“In addition, I would like to thank ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø for being concerned of its students. The University took good care of our welfare and safety throughout our time on campus," she said.

Meanwhile, for Mr. Saiful Hadi Jamal Shuhaily, the management team of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø should be commended as he felt that throughout his time on campus, both his safety and welfare were well taken care of.

According to him, though he was excited to return back to his hometown he would surely miss campus and his friends.

"I am grateful to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø for helping its students from the beginning of the MCO up till now the time we can return to our hometowns tonight," said he upon arrival at his hometown, Kalumpang, Hulu Selangor.

Mr. Muhammad Zulrasyidi Mustafa also expressed elation when he received a call from the Student Affairs Department informing him that he would be sent back home.

He said the call he received was the call he had long awaited for following the government's announcement of allowing students to return to their respective hometowns.

"In addition, I applaud the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Health Malaysia and others for doing such an excellent work in ensuring the safety and well-being of all students at the various Institutions of Higher Education in the fight against Covid-19," he said upon his arrival in Putrajaya early this morning.
