ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø And Kedah State Immigration Department Discuss Current Issues Of International Students
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani received a courtesy visit from the Kedah State Immigration Department (JIM) at the Vice-Chancellor's Meeting Room yesterday.
In the meeting, JIM was represented by its Director, Mr. Zuhair Jamaludin. He spoke about the current issues involving international students, particularly those studying in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
Among the issues discussed comprised matters with regard to student visas, issues on overstay, foreign students working passes as well as special passes and the potential collaboration between the Kedah State JIM and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø in the future.
Also present at the meeting were Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hendrik Lamsali; ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and Kedah State JIM senior officials.
