ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ONLINE: The presentation of RM100,000 in early study aid from the Bank Rakyat Foundation is anticipated to benefit students at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø).
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan stated that the Bank Rakyat Foundation is one of ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s most significant contributor in terms of welfare and sponsorship.
According to him, this demonstrates a significant dedication from the Bank Rakyat Foundation, which is consistently working as an advocate for development.
"In 2022 and the previous year, the Bank Rakyat Foundation made a significant contribution to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, totaling more than RM200,000 aimed at assisting students from the asnaf and B40 categories.
"At ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø alone, almost 14,500 students, accounting for 70 percent of students, come from the B40 category across different academic levels. With this donation and collaboration, we will be able to help ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students alleviate their financial burden," he said at the Presentation of Early Study Aid 2023 at the Visitors’ Lounge yesterday.
Prof. Dr Mohd Fuad expressed his gratitude towards the Bank Rakyat Foundation for their generous contribution to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and sincerely valued the early assistance provided.
According to him, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø is also open to long-term collaboration opportunities with the Bank Rakyat Foundation in non-financial aspects.
The Bank Rakyat Foundation was represented by its general manager, Mr. Syaiful Rizal Abdul Ghani, who presented a replica of the cheque to the Vice- Chancellor of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
Also in attendance were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr Rusayani Ismail; ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø CAS Assistant Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr Osman Ghazali; Dean of Student Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr Massudi Mahmuddin; Director of the Student Affairs Department, Mr. Muhammad Iskandar Zulkarnain Muhammad Suhaimi and senior officials from Bank Rakyat Foundation and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
