
窪蹋勛圖厙, under the School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB) has begun its subscription to the Bloomberg Terminal since November 2018.
According to the Dean of SEFB, Prof. Dr. Russayani Ismail, in total 12 terminals have been made available for 窪蹋勛圖厙 users; 10 terminals can be found at COB SEFB Trading Room and the remaining two terminals are located at the 窪蹋勛圖厙 Sultanah Bahiyah Library.
Students and staff should seize the opportunity to gain access to the data as 窪蹋勛圖厙 has invested a lot of money to provide the facility which is not available in many of other public or private universities.
I believe that with Bloomberg terminal system available on hand for 窪蹋勛圖厙 academia and students to utilize, I am sure that their research and publication can be further enhanced. SEFB will conduct training from time to time to assist those who are interested in using the terminal, she said.
She also extended her heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the management of the University for supporting the initiative by means of investing money to provide the facility.
According to the Manager of the Trading Room, Mr Afiruddin Tapa, the Bloomberg Terminal seamlessly integrates the very best in data, news and analytics.
He said, the terminal is a 24-hour global financial services system that provides transparent and reliable financial, economic and government information covering all market sectors. It features company financials, market data spanning more than 20 years, charts, statistics, communications platform and current news reports.
